With just three homes remaining, here’s why Yeabridge Court Barns has proved to be a great sell

Starting Yeabridge Court Barns back in winter 2020, we knew at Acorn Homes we were creating something special. Situated in a rural setting so gorgeous it belonged on a postcard, this site and the existing barns had so much potential that the whole team were brimming with excitement to start the transformation.

Fast forward just over six months later and our gut instincts were right – as without even completing the conversions, we only have three remaining. So, what is it about this scheme that’s attracted so much attention?

Speaking to Georgie – one of the selling agents for Yeabridge Court Barns, from Symonds & Sampsons, she gave us some insight into why this development has been so popular.

“The homes at Yeabridge Court Barns really combine the best of both worlds, offering all of the charm and aesthetic appeal of a character building but with all the benefits of a new home. Teamed with such a beautiful location, schemes like this are a rare find.

The influx of interest we’ve seen over the last 12 months from those wishing to escape heavy populated, city locations in favour of more picturesque rural settings has also played a big role.”

Georgie adds that in fact, a number of Yeabridge Court Barns homes have been sold to exactly this demographic: “It’s easy to see the appeal to those who have moved from city locations for a new start in the country. They’re situated right in the heart of the serene Somerset countryside yet thanks to excellent travel links, are only a few miles from the next town.”

Each of the homes here benefit from a bespoke design, perfectly matching their natural surroundings and done so to the highest quality, of which Acorn Homes have a reputation for. In addition, each home has both a double garage and carport, a fantastic selling point for many.

This development really is a shining star in the Acorn Homes portfolio, and a great example of how to turn a once unloved collection of barns into a stunning selection of listed buildings, with all the features of a new home.

Three homes remain at this site, but as Georgie says “I don’t expect the last three to last long on the market, judging on the selling journey of the rest”. So, if you’re in the market for a beautiful listed building in an idyllic countryside setting, we recommend giving us a call….quick!
